In the past four years we have completed several automobile sales, service and repair garages for various clients.
These projects include two completely new facilities for Toyota and Mazda, substantial renovations and extension to two existing facilities for Ford and Honda, as well an extremely unusual re-purposing of a restaurant into a car and motorcycle dealership. Additionally, we have just completed a 20,000sf major renovation to Sault College’s Autoshop and heavy equipment repair garage for their Motive Power programme.
Of note is that the Honda Dealership was so successful, that Honda Canada has changed their ‘Interior Image’programme to match details to what we developed as a one-off for the local Honda renovation.
With the advancement of technology in the speed of machinery and multi-car flow through, plus energy and water saving technologies, carwashes will soon become far more convenient and environmentally friendly.
This client wished a unique and modern approach for design, as it incorporates the latest technology. Other important aspects are the ability to see the facility from the highway both day and night. Therefore we designed a tower that is illuminated at night, but also acts as both the signage and a beacon during the day.
The site was carefully designed to facilitate quick access and car stacking, plus a large area for individual vacuums after the wash, or separately.
